How Can You Lose Weight Without Food Deprivation?

It is a perennial query: can you lose weight without exercise? Let us begin with this: exercise is great for the body and psyche, in so many different ways. It can reduce your risk for a host of illnesses and can even lower your incidence of stress, depression, and other psychological disorders, as well as increasing your energy, aid you to sleep better, and so much more.

But if you are asking can you lose weight without exercise, I would like to point out a couple of things. Firstly, your metabolism can (and will!) slow down as you age, so that it takes more energy to move your body around, thus, burning more calories; and secondly, exercise is extremely important for increasing your flexibility and strengthening your bones (which are generally weak while you are younger).

So, let's talk about exercise. Can you lose weight by exercising? Actually, the answer is both "yes" and "no." If you have an exceptionally fast metabolic rate, which means you burn off a lot of calories in a short period of time, then exercise will help you. As a general rule, you want to do cardiovascular exercise three to five times a week, plus some strength training once or twice a week.

However, if your metabolism slows down, then you can't lose weight. If it stops working altogether, then you can't lose weight either. The answer to both of these questions is no. However, if you have a slower metabolism than most people, you can still exercise to help raise it, as long as you avoid eating too much of the wrong foods.

So what kind of foods should you stay away from? Well, they aren't really foods, per se, but chemical substances in their original state. You need to keep your diet plan very simple, with only a couple of primary food groups. Foods containing lots of empty calories, such as sugar, salt, and white flour, should be eliminated completely. Good fat sources include nuts, olive oil, olives, fish, and even avocados. Dark chocolate may not provide enough of the nutrients that you need, so substitute it with a dark soy milk or coconut milk.

On the other hand, if you eat the right foods, which are high in good fats and proteins, you can actually help your metabolism to speed up and become more efficient at burning food. Foods like chicken, fish, eggs, vegetables, fruits, brown rice, potatoes, and whole grains should make up the bulk of your diet. They'll provide your body with the energy that it needs to burn fat and calories.

There are certain food groups that you should consume on a daily basis. Foods that contain mostly complex carbohydrates are excellent for supplying your body with energy and building muscle. Also, foods that have a lot of fiber can keep your digestive system regular, allowing it to properly process the food you eat. Protein is the building block of all muscle, so it makes sense to get plenty of it. Plus, protein has become the fat-burning, muscle-building drug of choice of many fitness gurus.

You can keep your food intake relatively low and still achieve rapid weight loss, if you follow these few simple guidelines. To lose weight without food deprivation, try implementing this diet plan into your life. I guarantee that within a few short weeks, you'll be saying goodbye to that cravings that made you feel miserable. Food isn't the enemy, it's just one of those things that we can't seem to avoid.

It's important to remember that no matter what your fitness goals are, you cannot expect to lose weight without food deprivation. This diet plan doesn't work for everyone. If you are pregnant, nursing, or planning a wedding, then don't go on it. If you are an athlete, an aspiring bodybuilder, or a senior citizen afraid of carbs, then go for it. Even if you have been following the right type of diet for years, sometimes Mother Nature makes a surprise visit and gives you the shock of her life.

Don't be discouraged by this. It happens to everyone from time to time, even when you're working out hard to lose weight. It only means that you're getting more out of your food than you normally do. The body, in order for us to remain healthy, needs some carbs as well as protein, fats, and good carbohydrates. By making smart food choices, you can feel great and still lose weight.

To get the best results, eat several small meals a day instead of the traditional large meals we usually eat. You can eat until you're full, but keep the portions small. Keep your body feeling great by using fat burning foods like oatmeal, raw vegetables, nuts, and avocados. Try using healthy fats instead of butter, hydrogenated oils, and other high-fat foods. You can also do some cardio workouts like brisk walking, swimming, or cycling every day or two instead of relying on a treadmill, bike, or elliptical machine for your workout routine. By eating right and incorporating an active lifestyle into your life, you can feel great and lose weight at the same time.
